Climate Rally Feb. 17, Washington D.C.

Climate Rally

League members from all over the nation will be joining thousands of environmental activists on the National Mall this Sunday. LWVUS has provided information about how you can meet up with other League members at this exciting event. http://www.lwvmd.org/n/sites/default/files/LWVClimateRallyTips.pdf
League members wishing to meet in a large group can begin to do so at 11:00 AM. If you get lost or have questions on the day of the event you can call or text Jessica Jones at 636.399.5846.

Where to Meet: The Corner of 14th St NW and Madison NW. This meeting point is marked by a blue star on the attached map. It is near the American History Museum and the construction for the new African American History museum. Jessica will be at this point beginning at 11:00 AM. We will leave this place to go to the rally point at 11:45!

Closest Metro Stops: Smithsonian or Federal Triangle. These are marked with the orange shapes on the attached map. Both stops are on the Orange/Blue metro lines.

Rally Point: NE Corner of 15th and Constitution.

March Route: Around the White House using 15th St, 17th St, Pennsylvania Ave and Constitution Ave.
